Post-Brexit Shipping Situation

1. Shipping to the EU: Due to post Brexit change in Customs and Procedures, you will be charged an import duty and VAT which varies per the country of residence (for e.g., 10% for Italy as of March 2021). Shipping of the artwork into the EU can therefore take up to 5 weeks from the time they have been posted from the UK due to new procedures put in place.

2. Post-Brexit Import Duty & VAT for Italy is 10% of the value of the goods (as of March 2021) which has been included in this invoice and charged upfront. This amount will be paid by Kovet.Art to Italian Customs to ensure the artwork moves through customs efficiently. Kovet.Art will be in close contact with customs and shipping and will keep the client informed of the shipping process throughout.

3. Businesses with a VAT registration number can claim back the VAT or import duty & VAT, as applicable, from your local revenues and customs department when you file your tax returns. Please reach your local accountant for further details. In this case, please provide us your Business Name and VAT registration number so we can invoice the charges to your business not your personal address.
